Miss-Beckie-Louise's Week 5 Entry: From The Outside Looking In

Miss-Beckie-Louise's Choice: Both

From The Outside Looking In

I walked down the path of the park and came to a stop, those two, being all lovey dovey in public makes me want to vomit, I mean seriously. She's everything I'm not, pretty, thin, and has the coolest guy in school on her arm. I just want to punch her and become her so I could actually be happy for once.

The way she waltzes down the corridors and pushes me to the side so that I bang myself against the lockers is just mean. She could totally fool you with that smile of hers but in reality, she's the biggest bitch alive.

I suddenly realized that I was standing still and that people were walking past me giving me weird looks and ones of pity as if they could read my mind. I looked away from the couple in front of me to look around the park and found an old couple sitting down not far away who was looking back and forth from me to them, when they saw Tina and Nathan making out passionately they pointed and I could hear them say;

"They look so cute together."

Then, they looked at me; "That poor girl, imagine loving someone and not getting that love returned."

I had enough of them talking so I walked past Tina and Nathan they stopped kissing, they must have noticed movement. Tina looked up and straight at me. I felt self-conscious.

"Yes?" she asked nastily.

I stood still, "no-nothing," I stuttered.

"Then why are you here?"

"Urm. I . . . I." I couldn't answer properly so I just ran as fast I as possibly could.

"Go lose some weight, stuttering bitch," I heard her shout after me.

I cried and ran all the way home.

The next few years at school were tough, but I started going out more, I lost weight, and when I reached college, I was Valedictorian and then I started off my own business.

You want to know the most funny thing about all of this?

I became Tina's boss, she ended up fat, and I got her man.

The one thing that I learned from all of this, is that you shouldn't compare your life to others as we have no idea what their journey is all about.
